This post is dedicated to all of you. I have been meaning to do this for several months . . .we want to thank each and every one of you for the soft and fury friends, the handwritten notes of well wishes, the beautiful drawings, the sweet poems, the fine works of art, the tokens and treasures of hope and faith, and the endless prayers for Lily and our family. This picture shows many of these that Lily has received since she was admitted to the hospital on July 8th. There are many more heartfelt gifts that are not in the photo but believe me they are not forgotten. Many of them are hanging on her wall and on the shelves on her room. I will post more photos of these later. We also extend our sincere gratitude to the family and friends (including those we’ve never met) who have helped us by bringing us home-cooked meals, folding our laundry, driving Charlotte home or school or soccer practice, picking up medications from the pharmacy, running to the grocery store or Costco for us, playing instruments or reading stories to Lily, to the local restaurants that have refused to let us pay for food deliveries, escorting me and Lily to doctors appointments and therapies, arranging special healing and prayer intentions for Lily, spreading the news for prayer requests for Lily, lighting candles for Lily in churches and basilicas around the globe, giving us hugs when you see us, keeping Lily in your daily thoughts and prayers, and so much more.
We are forever grateful for your kindness and support. We are all on this journey together.
God Bless,
Leslie
